WATERSHED is a European Erasmus+ project (KA220-HED – Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education) aiming to strengthen higher education curricula in the fields of sustainable water management, climate change adaptation, and digital transformation.
The project responds to pressing global challenges such as water scarcity and the increasing impacts of climate change, which are not yet sufficiently addressed in many higher education programmes. By integrating innovative pedagogical approaches, digital tools, and close cooperation with industry and policy stakeholders, WATERSHED equips higher education educators and students with the skills and knowledge required for sustainable water stewardship.
The project promotes interdisciplinary learning, gender equality, and inclusive participation, while fostering green and digital competences aligned with European priorities and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
