Green Kayak Clubs. A project that applies the circular economy in the sector of Kayak Clubs to reduce their environmental footprint.

The Green Kayak Clubs project (ERASMUS-SPORT-2023) aims to change behavior and reduce the environmental footprint of kayak clubs as well as to contribute to the EU work plan for sport 2021-2024. At the same time, the project wishes to create a network of kayak clubs in Serbia, North Macedonia and Croatia for the exchange of knowledge and practices promoting the circular economy and environmental awareness. Finally, sustainable policies/manuals emphasizing on the circular economy and sustainability are expected to be designed and developed for clubs as part of the project. Incommon participates as a partner along with four other organizations (ASSOCIATION FOR EDUCATION MLADIINFO INTERNATION (North Macedonia), KAJAKASKI KLUB BRATSTVO (Serbia), HRVATSKI KAJAKASKI SAVEZ (Croatia) ZDRUZENIE KAJAK-KANU KLUB DRIM -STRUGA (North Macedonia).

Green Kayak Clubs is a continuation of the Green Kayak project that started in 2021 as part of the Erasmus + Small Cooperation Partnerships program bringing together kayak clubs from Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia and North Macedonia. With this connection it tried to focus on environmental issues, such as biodiversity protection, waste management and prevention of pollution, and to make the sports sector greener and more sustainable, according to the EU work plan for sport 2021-2024 .
