Shaping the Schools of Today through the Circular Economy!

The Erasmus+ project “Circularity is Scool!” has completed its first major milestone with the publication of the Needs and Aspirations of Educators Report. The comprehensive assessment, which engaged 45 teachers and environmental education experts across Greece and Cyprus, reveals that while 71% of educators are familiar with circular economy concepts, significant barriers remain—including time constraints, limited resources, and gaps in structured educational materials.

By empowering students and teachers to become sustainability ambassadors, “Circularity is Scool!” aims to create lasting environmental awareness that extends from classrooms to entire communities, in other words, to the children’s parents and families, the neighborhood and municipality of the school, but also to local bodies such as cultural clubs, sports clubs, etc.
