Zoom on circularity and sustainability by the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

Incommon joined forces for the second consecutive year with a landmark cultural institution of Thessaloniki – the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (Tiff64) – aiming at the transition to a greener and more sustainable festival.

Circularity actions were adopted with an emphasis on coffee & food waste management.

In the six canteens that operated during the Festival and from the five meals organized at the Entukterion, the following were collected:

165 kg of organic waste equivalent to
664.5 kg of CO2 not released into the atmosphere
a total of 21 people from the specific enterprises were trained in the practice of collection at the source

All organic waste was transported by our special electric vehicle and used for bioenergy production.

We thank the Festival team for supporting the process and renew our appointment for an even more sustainable continuation!
