Incommon’s project kafsimo was awarded the EU Prize for Citizen Science 2024
The project that supports the participatory coffee recycling was distinguished in the “Honorary Mentions” category as a good practice with a strong environmental and social character that stands out for its innovation!
And all this thanks to over 35 tones of coffee waste collected and diverted from the landfill saving 160+ tones of CO2 from the atmosphere through a joint effort of citizens, businesses and the Energy Cooperative Company of Karditsa.
